Stewarton Bible School

Introduction to SBS

Stewarton Bible School  (SBS) is a Christian Information Service based in the town of Stewarton, Scotland. The school was founded in 1968 by David B Loughran(DBL) and his wife Ingeborg Katharina Loughran (IKL).

Though we have many enquirers and contacts all over the world, SBS is not a denomination, it has no membership and no mailing list.   SBS is a registered Scottish Charity (No. SC007855). SBS is not affiliated in any way to any religious organisation. For many years (since 1974) SBS has been sending free literature - upon request - to thousands of enquirers in over 30 countries. Via the Internet we are now (since February 1996) reaching many more. Below are a few facts concerning this School:

Aim

The aim of the Stewarton Bible School is to proclaim the most neglected part of the Everlasting Gospel: the part which calls upon the peoples of all nations to worship the Creator of the mighty universe by observing the divinely appointed memorial of His creation - the True Sabbath Day (Saturday!)
Revelation 14: 6: And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people;
7: Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Worship of the CREATOR, (who is also known as Jehovah, Yahweh or Yahovah) as opposed to acceptance of the unproved and fallacious theory of Evolution will inevitably lead the true believer to remember the seventh day Sabbath of the Almighty God of Israel. The seventh day Sabbath is the divinely appointed memorial of creation! It reminds us that 'the heavens, the earth, the sea and the fountains of waters were created by the LORD in six literal days.'

The Everlasting Gospel, in short, is a call to Faith and Obedience; particularly obedience to the Sabbath commandment, which is the sacred and eternal memorial of the Creation. The seventh day Sabbath is also the covenant Sign of Sanctification between the Creator and His people.
These are eternal facts no amount of argument can dismiss.
Exodus 20: 8: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9: Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Ezekiel 20: 12: Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them ...
20:And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

SBS aims to make these facts known to the peoples of the world. Why the urgency? The answer is because very soon all people will be obliged to choose between acceptance or rejection of the Sabbath commandment: a choice which is directly linked to the end-time prophecy concerning the deadly Mark of the Beast.

SBS is a Registered Charity

As mentioned above, Stewarton Bible School is not a denomination. Neither is it controlled, sponsored by or affiliated to any denomination. SBS is a registered Scottish Charity (No.SC007855) which is financially supported by individual believers from various groups in the UK and abroad. The School is run by a small team of believers, who all (including its founders) give of their services free of charge! Incoming donations are spent on publishing, advertising and despatching free literature and free disks to enquirers around the world!
Please Note:   No charge whatsoever is made by Stewarton Bible School for anything we provide!

Seven Ways to Support SBS

If you feel led by the Holy Spirit to support this work, then there are several things you could do; all of which will result in the saving of souls!
  1. You could tell people about SBS.

  2. You could link to the SBS site from your own. If you do not have a Home Page, see our file: Labourers Urgently Needed  for information on how to create one. If you do have your own Home Page, see SBS Contact Persons
  3. You could download and print SBS articles, and put your own name and mailing address on them for distribution in your area. In this way you could join us and many others in the great work of taking the Everlasting Gospel to all the world! Remember that all SBS publications are in the Public Domain!   See file No Copyright   for details about copying and translating SBS files.
  4. You could photocopy SBS booklets for distribution. See Free Booklets for details.
  5. You could Download the Entire SBS site and give copies of the downloaded files to your friends. If downloading proves a problem you could take up our Free SBS website CD offer and after installing our files on your machine, you could pass the disk on to others. This is an extremely important offer. Do not fail to avail yourself of it; because armed with this disk you will be able to publish the Truth in your corner of the vineyard.
  6. You could make Cheque Donations payable to 'Stewarton Bible School. (Scotland)'
Cheques should then be sent to Stewarton Bible School, Stewarton, Scotland. As we are a registered Charity (No.SC007855), donations are Tax deductable. Bear in mind that SBS has no paid employees; so all incoming funds are spent on publishing and despatching the Truth ... free of charge!
  7. And, most importantly, you could set aside a little time each week to 'pray for SBS.'
After all is said and done; this is by far the greatest help you could give us; and it will cost you absolutely nothing!

Long Term Plans

The Stewarton Bible School constitution makes no provision for the disolving of this Information Service. Instead it "provides for the continuos and effective running of it."
This means that SBS will continue to despatch - 'free of charge - the information at this site, in printed form and on computer disk - as long as the Almighty makes it possibly.
If you are a true believer in Yahweh the Almighty God of Israel, it may well be that He will impress you to support this work, by one or more of the methods mentioned above.

We trust that you will find the information at this site worthy of your attention. The facts we proclaim may surprise or even upset some. But, believe me, no offence is intended. We are not out to annoy anyone. Instead, our aim is to present you with an end-time message which will introduce you to your potential inheritance - eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven! Nothing we write or say can really do justice to the glory you as a human being were born to inherit. But it is up to you whether or not you accept Yahweh's offer of salvation through His only begotten Son Yeshua (Jesus) and make it to the Kingdom. These pages contain your open invitation to study and believe the Everlasting Gospel and all the blessings that come with it.

Sincerely

Elder: David B Loughran
(SBS Founder)
